Raise Money by Recycling for Health & Rescue

Postby Caros » Sun Nov 28, 2010 3:49 pm

Help Save Our Environment and Raise Money by Recycling!

We are currently raising funds for The Toller Club of Great Britain Health & Rescue Funds by recycling old mobile phones, inkjet cartridges and laser/toner cartridges and your help would be greatly appreciated.

Our organisation will receive 50% of the recycling value for any mobile phones, £1 for each original empty inkjet cartidge or up to £5 per empty laser/toner cartridge donated kindly by you, friends, family or colleagues.

To recycle your items for free and raise funds for this great cause simply click on this link Recycle 4 The Toller Club of Great Britain Health & Rescue Funds.

If you think this is a good idea and want to help promote our recycling campaign further why not forward the details to anyone you know.

We will also be providing collection boxes at events so you can always bring your old mobile phones and inkjet cartridges with you.

Thanks for taking the time to help us and the environment, your support is always appreciated.

That's a shame.

Yes Epson cartridges are difficult. Most recycling places don't accept them, although there are a few if you search hard enough. Just due to the nature of them.

When I had an Epson, I ended up sending mine back to Epson direct to recycle.

Is this ongoing? Or just for a short while?
I have a bucket of ink thingees ( ?? cartridges) as recently bought a new printer so old Lexmark printer plus old ink thingees redundant. My son and Helen G sorted and set it up the weekend of Rally O. I am useless!
I can dump them on someone, next show/toller meet as this all seems too complicated for me. Any one volunteering please ?
My phones are old ones, second hand anyway, from family members, who usually use my really ancient ones for upgrading in a circlular logic which escapes me!

Nope that will take previous re-cycled ones too - they may or may not be recycled, will depend on the condition.

It's easy to get them to send you envelopes which are freepost and just send the items back or I can bring some envelopes to LKA for you.

I have phones and cartridges to recycle, but I'm wondering what to do with the other phone stuff, like charger, handsfree headset etc. Is there any good way of disposing of these?
