Goldie
Goldie was a 2 yr (approx.) male who was found wandering the streets of London as a stray in January of 2009 and had ended up at Battersea Dogs Home. Despite best efforts to find his previous owners, he remained unclaimed.
Goldie had quite a few issues, he was wary of strangers and would even bark and growl at them. He severely guarded toys. Stressed so badly in kennels and crates to the point of harming himself and would shred anything within the vacinity of a crate. He also appeared not to have been socialised and would often give off the wrong signals to other dogs. .
In April Club rescue arranged for him to be picked up and fostered with one of our club members and assessed. He has remained with his “foster parents” who fell in love with him and have now permanently adopted him. He is now called Dylan and he is gradually learning to trust again. There is a long way to go as he came with lots of “baggage” but it is truly wonderful to see how much this young lad is starting to enjoy life again.
